Getting started with Pulsar GRC

This guide shows the planned onboarding flow for Pulsar GRC. The app is being prepared for first deployments.

1. Account registration

  1. Go to the registration page in the Pulsar GRC app.
  2. Enter user details, the organization name, billing details, and select Professional or Advanced.
  3. Set a password and submit the registration form.
  4. Activate the 14-day trial in Stripe Checkout. The payment method confirms the environment start, but the card is not charged at the beginning of the trial.
  5. After the account and the dedicated Organization Data Area are activated, sign in to the platform.

Tip

Early deployments are opened after a request and a short conversation about your process, so the environment reflects your Organization’s real workflow from the start.

2. Organization setup

After your first sign-in, you will be asked to configure your organization:

  • Organization name - the name of your company
  • Industry - choose from the list or provide your own
  • Size - number of employees
  • Compliance requirements - add your own source documents and requirements you want to work with (for example ISO 27001, GDPR)

Platform scope

Pulsar GRC does not provide the content of standards or licenses. Your organization supplies its own regulatory and legal source documents, while the platform supports continuous operational compliance. From a compliance practitioner's perspective, the key is to maintain a single source of evidence and ownership all year round, not only during audit preparation.

3. Inviting users

Users can be invited and managed by a tenant administrator: a user with the Owner, Admin, or Tenant Admin role in the organization.

  1. Go to Settings → Organization → Users
  2. Click Invite user
  3. Enter the email address and choose a role
  4. Share the invitation link with the user, or use email delivery when it is configured

User roles

Role Permissions
Admin Full access, user and settings management
Manager Management of audits, risks, CAPA, and documents
Auditor Conducting audits and reporting
Viewer Read-only access to data

4. First audit

To create your first audit:

  1. Go to the Audits module
  2. Click New audit
  3. Enter the title, audit type, start date, and description
  4. Select the standard, audit criteria, and the scope covered by the audit
  5. Save the audit. The backend creates the audit plan, links the selected criteria, and can generate a checklist from audit mappings.
  6. To prepare AI-assisted questions, go separately to Questionnaires. The generator uses Standard, Scope, Number of questions, and the audited process description.

The questionnaire generator uses more than the selected standard and scope. It can also use the organization profile, process structure, previous CAPA, earlier audit results, identified risks, and mitigation measures, when those data are available in the tenant environment.

Ready

After these steps, you can start working in your tenant Pulsar GRC environment.
